Inspirations....

It comes at the oddest times.

A couple of weeks ago I was doing a volunteer job and part of it was listening to writers read their work. I looked down and was inspired by the carpet for a quilt block. As I was sitting in the next session I got out my handy notebook and copied it to the best of my drawing abilities. Which let me tell you is not at all perfected. So the scale is off but i know that the pattern is there.

Today while reading the blog Bunny Tales she was talking about knobs she had found at Anthropology. I had never been exposed to them. I am in love. lol.. because they are so beautiful. As many of you might know i currently live with my mom in a retirement community and have all of my stuff in storage. I have an antique dresser drawers and makeup table that i want to paint white.. somewhat shabby chic. I have found my new pulls. I am so excited. I am also currently out of work and have some leads on some jobs that pay enough that i should be able to get my own place. I can't wait. So talk to the one above that it all works out for the best.

So that is my life right now. Looking for a job. I am struggling on being inspired to do anything creative. I am even having trouble to be able to go to the gym. But yesterday i told myself that i have to start doing those things again. So keep checking back for postings and thank you for reading.

Dottie.

The drawer pulls are wonderful! Good luck with the job search. And I'll go to the gym if you will :). I need to get back in that habit myself.
